4th October - Church Opening Ceremony. (Cost of church building £23,500)

1955 Site of present church purchased for £1,000.
1949

Decision to join Baptist Union to seek recognition as an independent Church and to secure a minister with aid of a grant from the Home Work Fund.
25th July - Revd H Bonser retiring General Superintendent of North East Area accepted unanimous call.
11th October - Induction.

1940

9th April - Constitution adopted and the Church formed with 21 members.
11th April - Revd S F Thompson welcomed them into membership.

1939

12th July - The proposal to go ahead with the formation of a Free Chruch was agreed .

1935 Revd S F Thompson began to build up fellowship. Findon Valley being a fast growing area it was thought desirable to transfer the witness from the Village to the Valley.
1922 Sunday School started.
1906 Chapel put under trust and placed in the care of the Home Mission Commitee of Worthing Baptist Church.
1875 At his own expense Mr T G Graham built a tiny chapel at Nepcote
1860 Christians began meeting for fellowship in a cottage in Nepcote.
