Appeal:
If you are a subscriber to this worthwhile scheme you will be aware of its importance and on your Birthday you will know how much your gift is helping the medical missionaries overseas.
May I again appeal to all of you who haven’t yet agreed to join this scheme to reconsider and ask me for more details. It’s a once-a-year-only gift and yet it can make such a difference to so many people and it is a lovely way to say ‘thankyou’ for all the Lord’s goodness.
Events: We have a fun packed programme which includes games, drama, puppetry, Bible teaching, craft, singing and refreshments.

Events:
The Club Springboard meets during school term time on a Saturday evening between 6.30 – 7.45 for school years 5 – 7 and from 7.45 – 9.15 for school years 8 +. Evenings are usually free format with a variety of activities available – table tennis, basketball, video games, air hockey table, snooker, table football, tuck shop and craft.
One disappointment is that we don’t see as many Springboarders along on a Sunday morning at Kingfishers or on Church Parade mornings (bi-monthly) when Church services are focused for the children.
Statistics
We have recorded over 1,600 visits by children to our club this past year. We have averaged 53 children each week with a record 73 attending on May 22nd .
Since September we have seen 34 new children through our doors.
Interest
We have worked hard to keep interest alive and to provide a range of activities that the children can enjoy each week. Without doubt the portable basketball stands have been an outstanding success. We continue to search for other suitable (and safe) equipment.
Storage
Our new cupboard has been a real boon as we can stack the majority of our equipment away in the hall which is a much more convenient arrangement than previously. We are grateful to David Willard and his construction team.
Further Afield
We have helped support a Missionary from Latin Link who went to work in Ecuador. We have donated £100 for her to spend on a pool table for use in the club she helps run. We look forward to hearing from her when she returns this year.
Staff
We continue to be extremely grateful to those leaders who regularly give up their Saturday nights to help us.
Events: Activities are based on the National Curriculum guidelines, with the emphasis very much on learning through fun and play.
Events: The programme includes play, craft, refreshments and the ever popular songtime.
Lunch will be served from 12.15 pm to 1.15 pm. Contact the Church Office for details.
Events:
Events: Providing Lunch and Fellowship for the Community of Findon Valley.
Events: We meet each Thursday for a fairly informal afternoon, when visiting speakers come with either a gospel message, or a talk about a particular subject in which they have a keen interest. For example, the Worthing Churches Homeless Project, people with learning disabilities, the World's Street Children, etc. Before each meeting, a cup of tea is available, and a time for chatting to friends. A warm welcome awaits all ladies who join us.
Events:
We meet once during each quarter of the year at 8:00am for a good breakfast and fellowship.
Please join us if you can and bring a friend. We do appreciate your being with us.
Annual Report:
It is an opportunity for members of the congregation to order books and Bible reading notes throughout the year. Copies of magazines and the Baptist Times are also supplied. Thanks are due to Mary Knight for co-ordinating the Bible reading notes orders but in spite of a display of a variety of notes one Sunday we still only have 30 people buying notes through the bookstall. There is a display of titles in the bookcase available during coffee time on Sunday mornings. Reviews and recommendations from anyone who has found a particular title helpful and interesting could be used for other readers.
Any offers ?
