Findon Valley Free Church (Baptist) believes strongly in the need to support mission work. Many of our members are involved locally as well as yearly visitation to many countries around the world. Supporting and providing practical help as well as their demonstration of love of Jesus.
By supporting mission organisations through practical means and monetary giving we are enabling the many volunteers and paid staff to conduct their daily activities.
As a church we give 10% of our income to these organisations and our church actively supports the following organisations.
We thank all those in our church and community that support us through their financial and practical giving.
God Bless and thanks!

---Home Mission

Home Mission is all about helping Baptist churches and individuals to reach their mission potential and bring the love of God to their communities. It is the Baptist family purse, and each year our Union has an appeal to raise money for Home Mission.
Communities around our nation are being transformed by Home Mission through grants to churches and regions which facilitate church planting, the resourcing of local churches and enable churches to develop new and creative mission projects. Through Home Mission, hundreds of lives have been affected and many have found faith in Jesus.

 ---BMS World Mission

Evangelism, church planting and supporting indigenous pastors: BMS World Mission church ministries are transforming lives. When you give to BMS, you help us to send church planting teams among people who have never heard the gospel. You employ pastors and support new and historic unions of the faithful. You nurture culturally relevant expressions of Christianity and pioneer expressions of church, led by local believers. You provide discipleship training for new Christians and support local churches as they serve and reach out to their communities in practical ways. You make the love and saving power of Jesus known. Through BMS church ministries, every day, you are growing and strengthening the Body of Christ

---Operation Agri

Operation Agri is a development charity which supports Christian-led rural and urban development projects in three continents, showing the love of Jesus in action by attacking the basic causes of poverty amongst some of the most disadvantaged people in the world, regardless of their religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
OA supports sustainable development work such as agricultural centres to assist farmers, and irrigation schemes for rural communities. OA also supports projects that bring lasting improvement to people’s lives, such as basic health clinics, and women’s empowerment groups in urban slums.

---Release International

Release International is an inter-denominational Christian ministry working through local church partners in more than 25 countries, helping persecuted Christians prayerfully, pastorally and practically. Our ministry is based on Hebrews 13 v 3: ‘Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.’
We were founded in 1968, inspired by the testimony and ministry of Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned for his faith for 14 years in communist Romania.

---MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship)

In today’s ‘connected world’, the irony is that never have so many people been so isolated. Flying onto desert and jungle airstrips, lakes and rivers, tracks and roads, MAF’s light aircraft and their mission pilots go the extra miles to provide a lifeline.
Working in partnership with hundreds of other Christian and relief organisations MAF enables practical help, physical healing, and spiritual hope to be delivered to many of the most remote and inaccessible communities on the planet.
For 70 years, MAF has been flying for life.
