about this SERIES

“We Haven’t Come This Far to Only Come This Far” is an 8-week journey exploring spiritual depth, courage, and what it means to keep moving with God.

Overview: Over the last five years, we have seen God do more than we could have imagined. We have stepped into new ground, reshaped structures, strengthened leadership, deepened community and grown in confidence. There is much to be thankful for.

But spiritual maturity is not the same as spiritual completion.

Again and again in Scripture, God forms His people in a place — only to call them beyond it. Israel learned at Horeb, but Horeb was not the destination. The early church flourished in Jerusalem, but Jerusalem was not the end of the story. God never forms His people simply to stabilise them; He forms them to deepen them.

This series explores what it means to resist premature spiritual contentment. Not chasing change for its own sake. Not adding activity. But asking the deeper question: Are we becoming all that God intends us to be?

We haven’t come this far to only come this far.

Together we will consider what it means to move forward with courage, humility and spiritual hunger — steering faithfully into tomorrow.

Aim: To awaken spiritual hunger in a church that has grown and matured — resisting premature contentment and inviting deeper obedience, greater dependence, and renewed courage for the future God is calling us into.
